In 2023, we celebrated our 85th Anniversary. Those years have been marked by a variety of challenges and successes but I am particularly struck by the great clients and great employees with which we have been blessed. Our commitment remains to be the benefits partner that employers prefer.
Toward that goal, MedBen constantly evaluates what is working well and what can be improved. That emphasis on continual improvement is assisted by regular client feedback and it helped us achieve our ISO recertification this September.
Additionally, during the past 12 months:
- MedBen expanded its reimbursement strategies to include Fair Market Pricing, using annualized market data from millions of processed claims to determine the right payment for billed services.
- MedBen Rx rolled out a Benefit Preservation Program, which helps members decrease their spend on high-cost specialty drugs through manufacturers’ assistance, limited use HRAs, and other avenues.
- We introduced the MedBen Connect patient concierge bundle, featuring resources to help your members navigate the health care system and manage their health care needs more efficiently.
In 2024, we have bigger plans to help our clients effectively manage benefits in an ever-changing environment. Whether the goal is controlling rising costs or the need to retain employees with quality benefits, MedBen is committed to helping.
