Of interest this year:
- The standard (non-HDHP) in-network out-of-pocket maximum amount has decreased from 2024 levels. If your plan includes the maximum out-of-pocket allowed, note that this may need to be reduced as of the first day of your 2025 plan year.
- This decrease in deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums doesn’t apply to high-deductible health plans with qualified HSAs.
- The affordability safe harbor percentage has increased from 8.39% to 9.02%.
