The Utilization Metrics report shows you.Utilization metrics is one of the most popular and informative reports available on the MedBen Analytics online portal… and it’s one you can generate just with a few clicks.
With this report, you can view member utilization for various types of medical services compared to prior periods and set benchmarks. This allows you to measure your plan use (and corresponding costs) against industry and MedBen block standards, to see exactly where your health care dollars are going, and why.
To generate this report:
- Sign on to MedBen Analytics.
- Select “Reports” from the tool bar located on the left of your screen.
- Search and select “Utilization Metrics.”
- Click the blue “Run.”
- Set your desired parameters and benchmarks. We recommend generating the report based on a paid basis.
- Use use “Settings” drop-down to export the report as a PDF file, Word document, or Excel spreadsheet.
- Click “Run” again to generate the report.
