For the 21st consecutive year, MedBen is proud to play Santa for Families Helping Families. While 2020 has had challenges for all, including many of our employees working remotely, our team was still able to organize internal fundraisers and collect donations to allow small teams to go out and purchase gifts.Spearheaded by Licking County Job and Family Services (LCJFS), Families Helping Families provides gifts anonymously to local children. Area businesses, churches, schools, clubs, families, and other groups all contribute to the program.
This year, MedBen received the wish lists of 17 children from LCJFS as well as House of New Hope, which helps foster children. Our employees do their best to ensure that every item on the list, ranging from clothing to toys, makes it into Santa’s bag.
Families Helping Families is among the many charities and non-profit organizations MedBen has partnered with over the years. We’ve also been honored to support United Way, Food Pantry Network, Licking County Community Health Clinic, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the Midland Theatre, to name just a few.
MedBen has called Licking Country home since 1938, and we’ve pleased to be able to assist the people of our community.
