In order to ensure that employees understand the importance of adhering to ISO 9001 standards and how to maintain quality work processes, MedBen recently conducted companywide ISO training sessions.
“Every day we make sure that our customers receive the highest level of service,” said presenter Beth Painter, Business Analyst for MedBen. “And providing quality service requires a highly reliable system.”
Central to this system is making sure that processes are tested, audited and followed… and should a process not work as intended, appropriate actions be quickly taken to correct the problem. Also important is finding and reporting opportunities for improvement: “Look for ways to eliminate unnecessary steps, duplication of activities, or potential for error,” Painter said.
MedBen first achieved ISO Certification in 2005 and has been recertified every three years since then. MedBen will undergo its next re-assessment audit on March 12 and 13 to achieve recertification.
